An attempt to visualize what could happen if Elsie the Borden spokescow ever got tired of promoting the Borden brand and said you know what? I have had ENOUGH! And just went stark raving mad.
For those who don't know, Elsie the Cow was a cartoon brand ambassador for the Borden milk company created after the Great Depression to sort of spruce up the company's name, after its image was tarnished by driving small dairy farmers out of business. She debuted at the 1939 World's Fair In New York after getting a full-page introduction in Life Magazine.
She had to become a real cow when most of the visitors to the Borden booth at the fair wanted to know which cow was her. So they took a Jersey Heifer and renamed her Elsie. She appeared in movies and get this even "married" Elmer the bull from Elmer's Glue! Sadly she died not long after that in a traffic accident. But her legacy and influence live on!
This poster has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it'll add a touch of sophistication to any room.
