An Oneirocritica tribute to Maurice Sendak's Where The Wild Things Are. The Children's Classic was first published in the year of my birth, 1963, and as a young reader it captivated my imagination as no other thing I had encountered. Created entirely from feathers, this piece imagines a new member of the Wild Things gang, close-framed and drenched in that eerie moonlight haze that suffused the pages of the book I loved as a child.
