Commuter. I work from home now, but I used to commute an hour twice a day, five days a week, straight into the sun both ways. I remember there was this hill on the way to work where you'd reach the top only to be blinded by the sun coming at you from the horizon. All the drivers coming over the hill would lose their sight at the same time, weaving and trying to pull down their visors so they could figure out where they were. I'm surprised there weren't more wrecks in that spot, and I sure don't miss having to go through that every day.
Here I am crossing that hill, blinded and trying to focus on the centerline. I feel like I've captured almost exactly what that felt like in all of its mundane horror. I hope it resonates with the commuters out there.
